3. Insulation

Most Athenamuse cables use Teflon (PTFE) for primary insulation. While other materials are available, we prioritize safety above all else. Protecting expensive audio equipment from potential short circuits is our top priority.

Teflon is a premium material known for its thermal stability, chemical resistance, electrical resistance, low dielectric constant, and low friction coefficient. It offers both electrical safety and superior performance. The thickness of the Teflon varies by product, and some models utilize multi-layer jackets where secondary layers may feature different materials to optimize performance.
